Helps us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Collects anonymous usage data only.

Examples: Page view statistics; Referrer tracking; Device/browser type aggregation

Provider notes: No analytics provider is currently configured. When enabled, we will use a privacy-focused provider (e.g., Plausible, Fathom, or Cloudflare Web Analytics).
Media & Embeds
Allows embedded video content (e.g., demo videos) from third-party platforms. These platforms may set their own cookies.
Status: planned
Examples: YouTube / Vimeo embed cookies; Video player preferences

Provider notes: No media embeds are currently active. When demo videos are added, we will use privacy-enhanced embed modes where available.
Marketing
Used for advertising, retargeting, and marketing campaign measurement.
Status: not-used
Examples: Advertising pixels; Retargeting cookies; Social media conversion tracking
Retention: Not applicable — category not used.
Provider notes: Total Chaos does not use marketing cookies. If this changes in the future, explicit opt-in will be required.
Managing Your Preferences
When you first visit our website, you will see a small banner at the bottom of the screen asking for your cookie preferences. You can:
- Allow optional cookies — enables analytics and media embeds.
- Reject optional cookies — keeps only essential cookies active.
- Customize — choose exactly which optional categories you want.
You can change your preferences at any time by clicking Cookie settings in the footer.
Withdrawing Consent
If you previously allowed optional cookies, you can withdraw that consent at any time through the cookie settings panel. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
No Optional Tracking Before Consent
We do not load analytics scripts, media embeds, or marketing pixels before you explicitly consent. The website is fully functional with only essential cookies.
EU/EEA-First Provider Preference
If we enable analytics or other optional services in the future, we will prefer EU/EEA-based providers with strong privacy practices (e.g., Plausible, Matomo self-hosted). See our Subprocessors & Vendors page for candidates under evaluation.
We do not use Google Analytics or similar non-EU tracking tools by default.
