Show Mode
Show Mode is the operator interface for high-pressure moments. It displays only what matters: the currently running cue, the next armed cue, elapsed time, and essential transport controls. The layout is designed to be readable at a glance and resistant to accidental input.
What it does
Show Mode is the operator interface for running live performances. It strips away every non-essential element and presents only what the operator needs: the currently running cue, the next armed cue, elapsed time, and essential transport controls. The layout is readable at a glance and resistant to accidental input.
Why it matters
During a live show, the operator is under pressure. A cluttered interface increases the chance of error. Show Mode is deliberately minimal: large GO button, clear status indicators, next-cue preview, and PANIC within easy reach. No editing, no distractions.
Typical workflows
- Enter Show Mode after Preflight passes
- Trigger the next cue with GO or mapped hardware
- Monitor NOW RUNNING and NEXT ARMED displays
- Use PANIC for immediate stop when needed
- Exit to Edit Mode after the show for adjustments
Design note
Show Mode is intentionally minimal. You cannot edit cues while in Show Mode. This is by design.
